A sweet Sunday morning. Soft rhythmic music with earthy undertones, easy on the ears and good for the perspective...pancakes, coffee, good company.
The sound of the washing machine and dryer add to the soundtrack on this one morning. This is my script for today, the colored glasses on drying on the counter,
the smell of drier sheets and vegetarian sausage in the air...
The gray cloud overhead, the dampness in the cool air, the orange fired trees...this is the sound track of my day...
Thoughts of lands far away filled with worries, remind me like the sound of crushing glass on my wedding day, that even in the midst of my contentment for this moment, there is a discontent for the empty violence..this is the soundtrack of my life...
My children giggle on the stairs I've told them 100 times not to play on, and i am glad they are warm and safe...I wish all my children were warm and safe.
Some things can not be separated. So I open ancient words like books from pages reprinted from One soul. This is my connection to bridge what is far away to what is so close to my heart...
the soundtrack to my life.
