Stirrings
stirrings
hold themselves in
I shake my head to remove the
autumn leaves that will fall there soon
and I am thankful for momentary glimpses
into yester minutes and forgone conceptions
hopeful entanglements of not-quite-right.
Other souls echo off the vibrations of different frequencies
almost as if I were them and we were two different souls
in one body.
I live in tomorrow as much as the next guy, but always looking
back and asking how do I get there from here?
Star gazing into my own eyes, questions I fumble to find
answers to before they can ask.
But I know somehow that hard rules and logic are not what I am grasping
at, but
ancient threads hanging from coat tails
that weave themselves through history like a promise
that repromises with every birth.
I want to usher in lights, fragmented into a
fullness that we are waiting on...
Three steps forward into Eternity...
I really like reading these :) it adds poetry to my day. Wish you would write more :)
